Why Senddy
Why apps add Senddy: privacy users want, without the work of building it, and revenue on every transaction.
Privacy is the normal state of money#
Cash never announced what you had or where it went. A bank statement is confidential. A typical onchain wallet is the exception: anyone can read its balance and every payment it has made.
Your users notice. Payroll, rent, savings and trades are things people expect to keep to themselves. Senddy gives them that back, inside your app.
What Senddy does for your app#
Your users get privacy without learning anything. They send, swap and earn the way they already do. Amounts, balances and counterparties stay off the public ledger. There's no gas to hold and nothing new to manage.
You get it without building it. Privacy onchain normally means zero-knowledge circuits, proving, relayers, key management and a secure verification service. Senddy runs all of it. You install one SDK.
You earn on it. Set a fee on transfers, swaps, deposits and withdrawals, and it's paid to your address on every one. See Set your fee.
Private, not anonymous#
Senddy keeps money confidential from the public, not from the law. Deposits are screened onchain against sanctions oracles, and activity is risk-checked offchain before it's processed. Users can share a view key with an auditor whenever they need to. See Compliance.
Proven, not promised#
You don't have to trust Senddy with your users' privacy:
- Proofs are made on the user's device. Senddy never sees their keys or their balance.
- Non-custodial. Senddy can't spend from or read a user's private balance.
- Verifiable. The pool contracts are public, and every note is anchored to a Merkle root anyone can check.
See How privacy works and Security.
Already running#
- HOODS runs private swaps and private holdings on Senddy, on Robinhood Chain.
- The Senddy app is built on the same layer you'd use.
