Bridging Assets

How to move USDC from other chains into Senddy.

Overview

Senddy runs on Base (Coinbase's Layer 2). If your USDC is on another chain, Senddy handles the bridge for you automatically.

Supported bridges

Solana to Base

Senddy uses Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) for Solana bridging. This is a native USDC bridge operated by Circle (the issuer of USDC), making it the most secure bridge available.

How it works:

  1. Tap Deposit and select Solana
  2. Enter the amount of USDC to bridge
  3. Approve the transaction in your Solana wallet
  4. Senddy's relayer handles the bridge — you don't need SOL for gas
  5. USDC arrives on Base and is deposited to your Senddy account

Timing: 15-20 minutes (waiting for Solana finality + Circle attestation)

Fees: Gasless. Senddy's relayer pays the Solana transaction fees.

Ethereum to Base

Bridge USDC from Ethereum mainnet to your Senddy account on Base.

How it works:

  1. Tap Deposit and select Ethereum
  2. Enter the amount of USDC to bridge
  3. Sign an EIP-2612 permit (gasless signature, no ETH needed)
  4. The relayer submits the bridge transaction on your behalf
  5. USDC arrives on Base and is deposited to your Senddy account

Timing: ~15 minutes for standard bridge

Fees: Bridge fees apply (Ethereum gas costs).

Bridge status

You can track the status of any pending bridge from the app. Senddy polls the bridge attestation service and notifies you when your funds arrive.

Already on Base?

If your USDC is already on Base, you can deposit directly — no bridge needed. Just send USDC to your Senddy deposit address from the Deposit screen.
